Cryo Stepper Motor

The VSS/VSH UHV-C Phytron stepper motor series has been developed for operation at cryogenic temperatures.
Here we distinguish between two different applications:

On the one hand, cryo stepper motors are operated in liquid nitrogen or helium and on the other hand, 
in cryostats to 10^-11 mbar and to 4K. Special material selection and optimised construction safeguard
precise positioning of the 2 phase stainless steel stepper motors even at the most extreme temperatures and vacuums.

Cryo positioning in vacuum or liquified gases – research – astronomy – science technology – special light-weight design made of titanium e. g. for space applications – medical engineering
